scholarship opportunities)
• Your progress toward the college readiness benchmarks.

• What you need to succeed in college
• The PSAT measures reading, writing and language, and
math skills developed over many years.
• The PSAT does not ask for facts from literature, history, or
science, or for recall of math formulas, because it measures
your reasoning and critical thinking skills.
• You don’t have to discover secret tricks or cram the night
before, nor should you!
• There is no penalty for guessing.

Is your GPA or Test Score More Important for College Admissions?
• Students hoping for a scholarship should understand that the higher the score the higher the dollar value of scholarships. This is used in conjunction with your core GPA and rank.
• These 3 factors: GPA, rank, test scores are used to determine the “scholarship” offered to you when you apply to a college.
• We’ll show you how this works!
