1. Go to lib.tcu.edu.2. Click on “How do I…?”3. Find the link to Refworks.

4. To sign up, you will need TCU’s Subscriber Group Code. To get this code, click on the Subscriber Group Code link and type in your TCU user name and password.

5. Sign up for a new account (you only have to do this once).

6. Find some articles in FrogScholar and save them using the folder icon.

7. Click on “Saved Items” on the bottom of the screen.

8. Click on Refworks (make sure your pop-up blockers are turned off).

9. The window to Refworks should open and you should see a screen that says “x reference(s) imported.”

10. To view this citation in Refworks, choose “View Last Imported Folder” at the bottom of this window.

11. To create bibliograhies, click on the “Create Bibliography” link and follow the prompts.

Many of the databases you will use, such as JSTOR, Criminal Justice Abstracts, and SocIndex, all have links to export citations to Refworks.
