4. Manage Auto-Reply (“Out of Office”/Vacation responder) Use the auto-reply feature to send responses automatically to any person who emails you. Each

sender will receive the reply message only once.

Note: Your email is forwarded to your own mail server, rather than being stored at Rackspace, you

will need to make your own “Out of Office” arrangements; the Rackspace Webmail facility will not

work for you.

1. Click the Settings (upper right).

2. In the left pane, click Incoming Email.

during the following time frame check box, and then select a start and end time.

7. Click the Save button.

5. Dealing with spam Rackspace automatically detects spam and prevents the vast majority of it from arriving in your

inbox. “Borderline” spam messages are sent to your spam folder, for you to decide what action to

take. Occasionally some spam may make it through to your inbox.

To handle spam, including reporting messages as spam (false negatives) for reporting messages as

not spam (false positives), please refer to Rackspace’s own guides:

• Manage User Spam Settings (including reporting spam):

http://www.rackspace.com/apps/support/portal/1709

• Reporting messages as not spam: http://www.rackspace.com/apps/support/portal/1373
