Future Steps

Release of the needs assessment data (Nov)

The production of an outcomes measure for alcohol treatment

Filling data ‘black-holes’:

Tier 2 Brief Interventions – now reported on in NA

‘Other structured treatment’ – why so many falling into this category?

The production of a summary sheet for purple reports (if this is felt to be of use)

Page 16: Using NATMS to support effective commissioning Helen Willey Alcohol Information Analyst National Treatment Agency

Summary

Currently 3 quarterly reports produced

New comprehensive needs assessment data to be released soon

09/10 annual statistical report to updated soon

Looking to improve current purple reports
