Editing imagesOnline Design provides robust image-editing capabilities powered by Aviary. When you have selected a picture in the Photos area, you can open the Photo Editor by clicking on the Launch Editor button at the bottom of the right window.

In the Photos area, your images can be organized into albums that you name. The Photo Editor offers a variety of adjustments for your candid photos.

Editing imagesOnline Design’s Photo Editor powered by Aviary offers a wide range of capabilities, from simple adjustments all the way to adding special effects. Use this exercise to practice with the Photo Editor.

Please note that only users who have been granted the proper permissions to use all the Image functions can complete this exercise.

1. Click Photos in the main navigation.2. If photos have been uploaded, you will see them organized by photo album under My

Albums. Scroll through the images and click to select the image you want to edit.3. On the image details screen, click Launch Editor.4. The Photo Editor will open in a new window, showing the tool bar along the top,

including Enhance, Effects, Crop, Resize, Brightness, Splash and Redeye. Click the left and right arrow buttons to scroll through the options.

5. Click on several of the editing levels to practice with, including Crop, Sharpness and Enhance.

6. Choose one of the Effects to apply to your image. Click Effects, then scroll through the options and click to choose one. Click Apply.

7. Once you are done editing, click the Save button. An updated version of your image with a “-edited” extension will appear in the same album as your original image.
