[email protected] September 4, 2015 David Sanford, Chairman Sanford Heisler Kimpel, LLP 555 Montgomery Street, Suite 1206 San Francisco, California 94111 Dear Mr. Sanford:

On behalf of the University of San Francisco, the School of Management and the China Business Studies Initiative (CBSI), please accept our sincere gratitude for SHK’s generous sponsorship to support the CBSI Forum on August 27 entitled China’s New Investment Strategy: A Reality Check. We were thrilled with the crowd that you helped to bring together as speakers shared their views on the state of the economy of China and how the global investment landscape will be affected by the recent events in China.

Your firm’s contribution allowed CBSI to advance its mission of promoting research and development focused on China and the globalization of China business, which leads to new discoveries and a greater understanding of the economic climate and critical success factors facing Chinese enterprises.

The forum was so successful that it was picked up by the Singtao Daily news, San Francisco’s most popular Chinese newspaper. None of this would have been possible without your support in making it such a success. Here is the link to the photos from the forum: Photos.

I have attached the news article for your reference. We look forward to having your involvement at future events hosted by the China Business Studies Initiative and hope to see you again soon.

Sincerely,

Xiaohua Yang, Ph.D. Director, China Business Studies Initiative Professor of International Business School of Management University of San Francisco Cc: Qiaojing Zheng
