Always on the move

• Traveling to site of construction

• Uses cell phone to communicate with his lorry drivers and clients

• Can read/write Telugu

• Cannot read/writ English

• Uses Reliance LG handset since 3 years

• ‘Speed Dial’ facility has been configured by daughter

• Cannot understand/read English language interface

• Use of phone limited to memorizing upto 20 ‘speed dial’ numbers

• tends to commit mistakes sometimes by calling up wrong ‘speed dial’ numbers

• Has learnt the steps(buttons to press in sequence) to retrieve a missed call

Bought a new ‘BSNL Cellone’ connection with NOKIA 1112 handset since it is the only connection that works there.

• Telugu interface configuration and address book entries have been made by daughter

• Uses the new phone for personal calls in the same way as his business phone (speed dialing)

• He can now read the interface and guess the options
