Basic Introduction and Operation

To begin enjoying your TwinTAB, charge the device for 2 hours continuously with the charger

comes with the package or through USB cable. Please make sure it is fully charged for the first

time [it will increase the battery performance]. Press the power button for few moments and wait

until the welcome page appear. By default there is no lock/password, just tap the screen to

unlock. Please have a look at the bellow screen shot and basic introduction of the various buttons

and functions.

This search button is a quick search button to search for various contents from the internet. It will

help to search any contents directly and very easily from the intern

Voice search is a very strong and interesting feature of TwinTAB. This feature helps to search any

contents from the internet. It converting voice to text directly and search the contents online

accordingly.

Apps Button is a very common and most used button to access all kinds of apps, widget, shop,

settings and so on. By pressing this button you will see all the apps and widgets installed on your

TwinTAB. You can install more apps, rearrange, make shortcut or uninstall any apps from here.

You may find lots of pre-loaded Apps with the TwinTAB like Games [Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja and

Temple Run etc.] Communication [Skype, Gtalk etc.], Social Network Sites [Facebook, YouTube

etc.] utility [File Manager, Google Maps, Flash Player etc.]

It will show the current battery level/Remaining Charge Status, Charging Status, Battery low

status etc.

This icon will indicate the signal reception strength between TwinTAB and the Service Provider

network. It may show different icon like 3G, E or G based on the network platform. The signal bar

will become blue when it is connected to internet through 3G/EDGE/GPRS.

This icon will indicate the current time. This time is manually adjustable or automatic by the

network. Also the time zone and time format can be customize as per the user requirements.

TwinTAB has one mini USB port and there is one OTG cable inside the box to connect any

standard USB device to TwinTAB directly. In normal mode/condition this icon will not show on the

screen but if there is any USB devices plugged in, this icon will appear automatically even if you

charge through USB Data cable from your PC/Laptop. Through this USB host port, external Data

can be accessed like playing movie from USB device to TwinTAB or transfer any files etc.

TwinTAB has two way volume controls, from the inside by soft touch and physical button from the

outside. To increase the volume this button is used.

This button used to reduce the system volume.

This button used to access or to see the most recent activities or history.

This button is often used to back to home page of the TwinTAB. In this device there is two Home

buttons, one is by soft touch and another is physical button. Wherever the user is if they press

this button it will back to the Home page instantly.

There is two back buttons on this device. One is by soft touch and another is physical button. To

back from any operation or any apps this button often used.

Ans: A tablet PC is a wireless, portable personal computer with a touch screen interface.

The tablet form factor is typically smaller than a notebook computer but larger than a

smartphone.

Ans: Yes, TwiTAB supporting 3G/EDGE/GPRS through Standard SIM card. A micro SIM

card to Standard SIM adapter is required to use micro SIM card.

e. How to charge the TwinTAB?

Ans: In TwinTAB there is two ways to charge. One is through USB port and another is

through conventional DC jack. For the first time, it should be charged continuously 4 hours

[it will increase the battery performance]. Generally through DC charger it will need 1.5 to

2.00 hours to get fully charged and through PC/Laptop it may need 3.00 to 4.00 hours

depending on the host USB current rating. Best practice to charge regularly to enhance the

battery life and performance.

2. Connectivity Issues:

Q. How to connect with WiFi?

Ans: TwinTAB supporting Support 802.11b/g range of WiFi signal. To connect with WiFi

please follow the bellow steps-

Settings>> Wi-Fi>> ON>> Select the Access Point from the right side list>> Enter the

password>> within a few moments TwinTAB will connect with the Access point.

Q. How to Connect through 3G/EDGE/GPRS?

Ans: TwinTAB has one Standard SIM card slot for 3G/EDGE/GPRS. Turn OFF the tablet,

insert the SIM card and then turn it ON. Within a few moments 3G/2G network signal strength

will show on the left down corner. To get the internet through 3G/EDGE/GPRS, make sure mobile

data is enabled on the tablet [by default mobile data is enabled]. To enable the mobile data follow

the bellow steps-

Settings>> Data usage>> Mobile Data>> ON.

Q. How to Connect with Bluetooth devices?

Ans: TwinTAB supporting various Bluetooth devices like, Keyboard, headphone, mouse,

gaming console etc. To connect the Bluetooth devices, please follow the bellow steps-

Settings>>Bluetooth>>ON>> Tap the device name and make it visible to other Bluetooth

devices [it will be visible for 2minutes]. Search the device and connect as per the screen

instruction.

Q. How to set Data Limit on TwinTAB?

Ans: To avoid unexpected data usage TwinTAB has option to make limit of the data usage.

To enable this function please follow the bellow steps-

Settings>>Data usage>>Tick mark the “Set mobile data limit”>> set the data usages time

period>> finally set the data like 20MB, 1GB, 2GB or any fractional data as per the requirements.

Q. How to connect TwinTAB with LCD/LED TV?

g. Q. How to insert the SIM card?

Ans: To insert the standard SIM card to the TwinTAB SIM slot turn OFF the Tablet

properly [SIM card will not detect if it is inserted during power ON condition] and

insert the SIM card according to the bellow picture-

h. Q. Why SIM card is not detecting on the TwinTAB?

Ans: If the SIM card is inserted when the Tablet is ON, it will not detect the SIM

card. To detecting the SIM card please follow the above picture.

i. Q. Why I can’t access Google Play Store?

Ans: TwinTAB supporting Google Play to download thousands of apps but to

accessing the Google Play store, user should have valid Google account and

internet connectivity.

j. Q. How to Download Apps?

Ans: To download any apps visit Google Play store by following the bellow steps-

3. Phone Function Issues:

a. Q. How to make a phone call from TwinTAB?

Ans: To make voice call from TwinTAB, please follow the bellow simple steps-

Apps>> Phone>> Dial the number>> Press call button.

And to end the call, simply press the “Call End button”.

b. Q. How to save contacts on TwinTAB?

Ans: To save new contacts on TwinTAB, please refer the bellow picture and follow the bellow

steps-

Apps>> Phone>> Tap the Contacts>> Tap the right top corner [3 vertical bar]>> Add new

Contacts.

c. Q. How to check the TwinTAB IMEI number?

Ans: In TwinTAB there is several ways to check the IMEI number. IMEI number on the box

sticker is visible for all and to check the IMEI number from the inside/system, please follow

the bellow steps-

Settings>> About Tablet>> Status>> IMEI.

a. Q. How to install Apps from Google play store?

Ans: TwinTAB supporting tons of FREE and paid Apps to download and install from the

Android Apps market known as “Google Play Store”. To download any Apps from Google

Play Store it is mandatory to have a valid Gmail ID. To access the Google Play Store,

b. Q. Does TwinTAB support Skype Video Calling?

Ans: Yes, TwinTAB supporting Skype Video calling through WiFi or 3G network. TwinTAB

comes with latest version of pre-loaded Skype which supporting video calls. For the first

time to use this Apps it will ask to “Enable” the video calling, please enable the video

calling otherwise it won’t be able to video calling later on.

c. Q. How to stop automatic updates of Apps?

Ans: During the downloading of any Apps from the Google Play Store, there is one option

“Allow Automatic Update” to stop the automatic updates you should not tick this button.

Automatic updates will push your system to download and install all the available updates

to each and every Apps without any prior notification. It may cause of unwanted data

charges when it is on mobile network also it works background which decay the battery

backup time.
