that Audit Professionals are Not Maximizing Use of Available Audit Technology

Audit technology tools other than data analysis were not available in more than half of the audit departments
according to the survey responses.
The majority of audit departments had not even begun a software evaluation process and had no plans to make technology tools available to their staff. Less than 5%
were evaluating vendors.
