Day 6 – Scenic Montana

The day starts in the capital of Montana. We will

travel across the state to our destination for tonight

at Helena, MT. Along the way we will enjoy the

unobstructed skyline that seems to overwhelm the

landscape, usually described as Big Sky Country.

Day 1– Amana Colonies

We start the morning in a little different direction.

We’ll visit Amana Colonies, spending time at several

traditional German villages and their museum where

you’ll learn of their German heritage. You’ll have some

time to shop old-fashioned stores and see artists'

workshops. Tonight we’ll stay in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Day 2- John Deere Museum & Field of Dreams

This morning we’ll visit the John Deere Tractor

& Engine Museum. You’ll learn a little about

agriculture from the past and present. You’ve seen

the movie, now see the actual Field of Dreams house!

We’ll visit the century old farm where the movie was

filmed over 30 years ago and the baseball diamond

carved from a cornfield. After lunch we’ll travel a little

further to our hotel in Dodgeville, IA.

Day 3 – House on the Rock

This morning we’ll travel to House on the Rock. We’ll

spend the day on the self-guided tour where you will

explore some of the world's most unique collections

including the world's largest carousel, a 200' sea

creature, automated music machines and much more.

We’ll spend tonight in Bloomington, MN.

Day 4 - Mall of America

Shopping, entertainment, food and drink... Mall of

America has it all. We will arrive in time for you to

choose what suits your fancy for most of the day. Pick

from 520 stores or visit the Sea Life Aquarium, play

miniature golf, or experience many other adventures on

your own. We will spend the night close to Fargo, ND.

Day 5 – Theodore Roosevelt National Park

This afternoon we will explore Theodore Roosevelt

National Park. We will be watching for bison herds,

prairie dog towns and other wildlife along the Little

Missouri River. This is the landscape that inspired

Teddy Roosevelt's passion for protecting wild places

and continues to inspire those who visit today. We

will make our way across North Dakota and spend

the night in Glendive, MT.

**Airfare and shuttle service not included in price**

Day 7- Glacier National Park

Today we will experience the pristine forests, alpine

meadows, rugged mountains, and spectacular lakes

of Glacier National Park. The scenery and wildlife in

the park provides constant amazement and inspiration.

We will take a guided tour of the famous Going-To-The-

Sun Road to see and learn more about the park. We will

end the day in Kalispell, MT.

Day 8 – Grand Coulee Dam

Be prepared to be “wowed” by the Grand Coulee

Dam, one of the largest structures ever built by

man. The 20-story-high power plant and Franklin D.

Roosevelt Lake makes an impressive sight. We will

spend the night in Yakima, WA.

Day 10– Mount St. Helen Volcanic Monument

This morning we will arrive at Mount Rainier National

Park. At 14,410 feet, Mount Rainier is the highest

mountain of the Cascade Range and a live volcano.

We will then travel to Mount St. Helen Volcanic

Monument, the site of the devastating volcanic

eruption in 1980. Since then, the land has healed

and recovered much of its natural beauty. Our hotel

for tonight is in Portland, OR.

Day 9- Seattle, WA

This day will be spent enjoying the sights and sounds

of Seattle starting with the view from its most iconic

landmark, the Space Needle. Next, we will get a close

up view of Seattle’s historic waterfront and dazzling

skyline from a cruise of the harbor. The next stop will

be a visit to the oldest farmers market in the country,

Pike Place Market. We will be ready for our second

night in our hotel in Seattle, WA.

Day 11– Fly Home

Today you will fly home at your convenience. You can

even stay a few more days on your own if time allows.
