California The State of California has passed legislation instituting a mandatory Covered electronic waste recycling fee be collected for certain electronic products shipped directly from Dell to California. This law, referred to as the Electronic Waste Recycling Act of 2003, requires manufacturers to collect a fee for electronic devices sold into the State of California excluding sales to resellers. Under the current law and regulations, the following Dell branded & third party products will be subject to a Covered electronic waste recycling fee:
