The Air Force Thunderbirds fly F-16C/D Fighting Falcons jets and the Navy’s Blue Angels fly F-18C/D Hornet aircraft

There are 12 officers assigned to the Thunderbirds. Every officer has a special job. Eight are highly experienced fighter pilots. Thunderbirds 1-6 fly in the air show demonstrations; Thunderbird 7 is the operations officer; and Thunderbird 8 is the narrator who describes the maneuvers during the show. Thunderbirds 9-12 are support officers who perform expert medical, administrative and maintenance duties.

A total of 16 officers who voluntarily serve with the Blue Angels. Each year the team typically selects three tactical (fighter or fighter/attack) jet pilots, two support officers and one Marine Corps C-130 pilot to relieve departing members.

Strong initiative.It involves the U.S. military's top-flight demonstration teams flying all over the county to "champion national unity."

workers and first responders confronting the COVID pandemic."

six aircraft over New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Flyovers in Philadelphia will start between 1:45 and 2 p.m. (EST) and last approximately 20 minutes.
