Control Symptom. - FUSILADE 4E is a systemic herbicide which moves lrom the treated grass foliage Inlo the shools, roots, rhizomes, slolons, and growing points (m8lislematk: regIOns) of Irea:ed grass weeds. Excellent control of a wide range of annual and perennial grass weeds will be'obtained wilh FUSILADf 4E when apphed as ~commended or> this label.
Growth of treated grap;f. weeds stops soon atter application. Symploms include loss of vigor, yellowing and/or reddening, and eve~lual dealh 10 lhe Irealed grass plant. Symptoms are generally observed Wllhln "ne to Ihree weeks, depending on grass woed specIes and environmental conditions,
APPLICATfON DIRECTIONS

ALWAYS 101)0 THE FOLLOWING:
• Nonlonlc Surlact.nt - Add nonlonlc surfactanl containing at least 75% surface actll/e agent. al 025% of Ihe hmshed spray volume
Ground Application - Use 5-40 gallons of spray volume per acre and 40-60 psi pressure A sufficient spray volume and pressur6 should be used to provide complete coverage of the treated grass weed species
2
J
--
Use higher /I,lumes and increase the pressure to 60 psi if Ihe grass fotiage is dense to ensure complete coverage.
DC NOT USE FLOOD TYPE OR OTHER SPRAY NOZZLE TIPS WHICH DELIVER COARSE SPRAYS.
00 NOT APPLY FUSILADE 4E WITH RECIRCULA TI NG SPRA YE RS, ROPEWfCK APPLICATORS, CONTROLLED DROPLET APPLICATORS (CDA) OR ANY SIMILAR DEVICES.
Band Application. - BsM applicaliof' equipment should be adlusled to provide maximum coverage of grasses in the pfanted row. Thorough coverage can be oblained with a nozzle directed to each side of the row toward the grass weeds in the planted row. Application with a single nozzle over the top of the row is not recommended.
The use of band appfk:ations en perennial grasses may result in reinhstation of Ihe treated band from the unlreated middfe and is not recommended.
A.rla' Application - Use a minimum of 5 gallons per acre. If the grass foliage is dense, increase the spray volume 10 to gallons per acre to improve spray coverage.
Soli R .. ldua' Activity
Under conditions where rainlall is adequate follOWing FUSfLADE 4E appliealion, soil reSidual aclivity may be observed. ThiS may result in control or suppression of new flushes of annual grasses. The amount of reSidual control IS dependent on Ihe FUSILADE 4E rate used, grass denSity. and the soil type. with more actiVity being seen on coarse-textured SOils low in organic mailer
