TransfersTransfers between airport and resort are either by speedboat or seaplane. As all transfers take place at sea it is recommended that sensible shoes be worn during transfers. Lombok is an island situated to the east of Bali known for its beaches and beautiful lush, mountainous hinterland in which is located the second highest volcano in Indonesia. It is also known for its glorious sunsets. After a visit to Pusuk Forest to see the monkeys you will drive down the coast to Pemenang to board the boat for the short crossing to the remote island of Gili Trawangan, one of three which make up the Gili Islands. On this island, there are no motorized vehicles and transportation is either by bicycle or horse drawn carriage. The island is only 3 kilometres/2 miles by 2 kilometres/1.5 miles in size. It is the perfect spot for simply relaxing although it is also an excellent dive centre.

DEPOSIT: Guaranteed land deposit due at time of booking. This land deposit will be $300 per person. Some suppliers may require higher deposits and you will be advised at time of booking. Sorry, but this deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. Insurance, MUST be purchased at time of deposit. See details on this page. NOTE: If IslandsEscapes is issuing your air tickets, full payment for these may be required at confirmation. Fares are not guaranteed until ticketed.

BALANCE OF PAYMENT: Guaranteed balance of pay-ment required 60 days prior to departure. If the balance is not paid by the stipulated date, the right is reserved to cancel the booking(s) without further notice and without refund of deposit.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to departure will incur loss of the non-refundable deposit as specified above. Cancellations received 45 to 59 days prior to departure will be levied a fee of 25% of the tour cost. Cancellations received 31 to 44 days prior to departure will be levied a fee of 50% of the tour cost. There will be no refund for cancellations 0 to 30 days prior departure. Other specific supplier and airline cancellation penalties may apply in addition to cancellation and amendment fees charged by Goway.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: With all the great travel ideas in this brochure it should be easy for you to choose a long holiday. If however you are not tempted to purchase a minimum of 7 days we regret we must charge you a booking fee of $50 per person. This will be added to your bill unless Goway issues your interna-tional air ticket.

INSURANCE: We strongly recommend Travel Insurance for all travel. Travel Insurance offers protection for unforeseen trip cancellation. Accidents and illness prior to or during travel can affect not only your trip, but may result in high medical expenses and extra costs, as can weather and flight delays. Any such expenses and costs are the travellers responsibility, and they shall not be entitled to any refund from Goway Travel, of monies paid, for any unused or lost travel arrangements. Travel Insurance protects against such costs, subject to the insurer’s policy conditions.

Some countries now require proof of adequate travel medical insurance before allowing entry. Goway Travel and it subsidiaries will not be responsible for any loss or costs incurred for events that are beyond our control, and will apply any fees and charges in accordance with our Booking Conditions. We recommend Travel Insurance always; never travel without it!

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents and tickets, joining and departure details, supplier addresses and phone contacts will be sent upon receipt of final pay-ment.
