SELECTION OF PROJEC TS THAT INSPIRE ME

USER EXPERIENCE WORKSHOP

I attended Follow UX Leader workshop last week. It was a great experience and lot of 

Interactive assignments we did. Everybody knows the importance of Personas as they help you

design with a clear vision of your user in mind. It gives you clear ideas about what a user does,

 what frustrates the user, and what gives the user satisfaction.

Here is one assignment I want to share. Mobile app called SHIFT ME for Malisa.

PersonaMalisa, 20 yrs old young girl works in Startbucks Coffee. Goals: To complete her graduation and

get a better paid job.

Background: She is pursuing her college degree. Her day is alway s bus y as she has to work and

study. She likes to be in touch with her friends all the time. She uses her mobile very 

frequently. Active on facebook and other social media. Get frustrate very easily when something

is not working properly at work.

SHIFT ME app caters specific locations and shows her next week’s schedule. She can reschedule

her shifts too. Here are some low fidelity sketches.

This book has lots of great stuff. Helped me understand the capacity of right brain.

 A different look at how people think and understand, and how business in the West will need to

change to be effective in a different kind of economy. It discussed how the workplace in the

United States is changing from an Information Age to a Conceptual Age.

 Very enjoyable book.
