USCHI will again host a Progressive Ag Safety Day for future harvesters ages 5-12. We are brainstorming ideas to make it a day of fun and learning to aid in keeping our kids safe. Safety Day has been moved to Saturday to better accommodate school schedules and other kids’ activities during the convention. Our Safety Day has remained focused on topics suited to our har-vester kids rather than general safety. Our kids see, experience, and have a knowledge of things that lots of kids don’t. For that reason, trying to be specific and engaging has been the goal. With such a broad age range, it’s a challenge to keep all focused, but it’s been impressive to see the kids work with and help each other! They all leave having learned at least one thing that could make a difference. Progressive Ag Safety Day is from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the convention center and includes lunch.
