The Program is designed for local and

international students. It focuses on

providing the fundamentals of literature,

culture, politics, communication and the arts

in Uruguay and the region. Participants will

have a more comprehensive understanding

of the challenges and promises that Latin

America confronts today.

Overview:This 4-week Program combines lectures, virtual field visits and group projects. The Program is worth 4 UM Credits (5 ECTS Credits)

Program Dates:Monday trough Friday: August 3 - 28, 2020 Daily Course Schedule: 14:00 – 17:00 (CEST)

• Uruguay & Latin America through Anglo writers

• Contemporary Latin American History

• Contemporary Latin America through Films

• Latin American through its Art

• Politics and Economy in Uruguay

• Virtual Visit to Museo Andes 1972

Certificates that can be obtained:

• Certificate of Attendance awarded to students who complete the Program• Transcript of records awarded to students who complete course obligations

and pass the final assessment (presentations/project reports submission)
