Keith Cothrans 3-pointer with one second remaining rimmed out as Rhode Island dropped a 69-67 decision toRichmond. Cothran was one o three players, who nished in double gures. Orion Outerbridge led the way with12 points as he connected on 6-o-7 shots rom the oor. Delroy James nished the game with 11 points and ninerebounds. Rhody held a 31-28 advantage on the glass and committed just six turnovers compared to 11 miscues othe Spiders. URI jumped out to an early 9-0 lead to open the game, but the Dukes ought back with a 17-6 run ovethe next nine minutes to tie the game at 17 apiece with 8:06 to go in the rst hal. One minute later, Richmond tooa 20-19 lead and went on to lead or the remainder o the hal as it took a 32-28 lead. Coming out o the locker roomRichmond held the lead or the rst 15:50 o the second hal until Rhody tied the game at 60 apiece with 4:10 to goin the game. Over the next minute, URI scored ve straight points and held a 65-60 lead with under three minutesto go in the game. Richmond ought back and held a 69-66 lead with 23 seconds to go in the game. Following amissed 3-pointer by Cothran, Richmonds David Gonzalvez went to the ree throw line with a chance to ice the gamebut ater he missed the ront end o one-and-one Rhody had another possession to tr y and win the game. Rhody built as much as an eight-point lead in the rst hal on the Panthers, thanksto the hot outside shooting o Akeem Richmond and Nikola Malesevic. ThRams got on track thanks to the hot shooting o James and Martell as they combined to score 1o URIs rst 21 points. During the rst 20 minutes no team lead by more than ve points. Rhody

trailed 31-27 with 4:24 remaining until the break, but the Rams responded with a 9-2 run to closout the rst hal and take a 36-33 lead into the locker room.
