    Green Sense Farm

    The building is located north of the state of INDIANA in

    USA.It has an area of 10 square kilometers and 7 meters high.

    Lettuce grown in 14 floors with LED lamps for 22 hours a

    day. You get no less than 26 crops a year instead of the 3 thatcould grow with traditional agriculture. Being indoors,farmers also run the risk of losing the crop if the weatherconditions are bad.

    He said energy by avoiding transportation from the countryside to the citiessavings.

    Pesticide free cultivation: The controlled environment protects crops againstpests and weed infestation. So organically produced crops can be free of anyinsecticide or pesticide.

    Ecosystem conservation, vertical farming will reduce the need for vastexpanse of land for cultivation, this will help recover large tracts of land thatwould have been used by traditional agriculture.
