Urban Market: Bring the Farm to the City
At the 2018 Ambiente Frankfurt Fair Show industry leader Gibson Overseas will introduce its new Urban Market collection which aims to bridge the traditional homespun farm aesthetic with clean, modern design for the home and table. Items in the new collection will include dinnerware and accessories with whimsical farm animal and floral designs merged with colorful updated looks. “Urban Market is designed to bring the farm to the city. Many of today’s urban dwellers are
originally from a more rural experience. We find there is increasing demand for items for the home that evoke a simpler, down-to-earth aesthetic,” Laurie Gates Gibson’s VP of Creative and Merchandizing said.
