5000Upper Hutt City Library has partnered with Trentham Military Camp to collect handmade poppies from this region in support of the ‘5000 Poppies - A Community Tribute of
Respect and Remembrance’ project.
If you want to contribute some handmade poppies (crocheted, knitted, felted or sewn), we have patterns available to help you. You can include a dedication to a family member, friend or simply to an ‘unknown soldier’ on the
back of your poppy if you wish.
Keep an eye out for another special Poppy Workshop at our ‘Knit & Knatter’ session on
April 17.
