Statistics• Distinct upper back pain
statistics are difficult to come by
• Unfortunately, nearly all “back pain” statistics are specifically about low back pain only
• Occupational health hazards in dentists in Croatia, for example, revealed that 78.18% of them experienced work related pain (pubmed) Image by Xjamos
Anatomy• The upper back is comprised
of the trapezius muscle which is located bilaterally on both sides of the spine
• The upper trapezius muscle consists of 3 different regions
• The trapezius muscle easily is susceptible to a build up of trigger points, which can get worse over time and cause chronic difficult to treat pain
Common Symptoms
• Deep aching chronic pain
• Radiating pain down the arms
• Tender knots or trigger points
• Headaches

Impact• Chronic trapezius pain can be
detrimental and cause issues around the clock during a patient’s waking hours AND sleeping hours
• Chronic trapezius muscle pain can cause an inability to concentrate which interferes with ones ability to perform work
• Decreased enjoyment of life due to increased pain
Causes• Poor posture
• Forward head carriage
• Poor workplace ergonomics
• Repetitive stress injury
• Accidents & Athletic injuries
• Use of cell phones or tablets that causes the head to pitch forward
Common Treatments• Heat packs with damp
heat
• Heat lamps (TDP etc.)
• Ice
• Electro stimulation, TENS
• Massage
Exciting Advances• Patent-pending • Easy 4-step system • For chiropractors, physical
therapists, acupuncturists, naturopaths, massage therapists, and MD’s
• Targeted upper back pain treatment
• Specifically targets trigger points
• Basic course of 6 powerful treatments per patient
• Based on 13 years of testing
New Concepts
• F-BOM’s
• Anchoring for treating the anterior and posterior trapezius muscle
• 3D Mind Cubes
Scientific Basis
• Elimination of trigger points via CTrp
• Golgi Tendon Organ senses changes in pain
Remarkable Results• The results for this easy 4-step
treatment speaks for itself
• For practitioners it’s frequently easy to feel an objective difference in the bilateral trapezius musculature following each treatment
• Patients often feel a subjective difference immediately following their treatments
• The practitioners objective examination findings matches up with the patients subjective experience of less pain with looser healthier muscle.
