Unemployment Definition,

Unemployment is defined as when a person is available to work andseeking work but currently without work.  Unemployment is one of the most important social problem of not onlyPakistan but the problem of all over the world.  Unemployment is a central problem of Pakistan because whenunemployment is high, resources are wasted and people’s incomes aredepressed; during such periods, economics distress also spills over to affectpeople’s emotions and family lives. The socio economics system of Pakistan andinstitutions has failed to provide employment to the increasing labor force. Laborforce include all persons who are of ten years and above , and during the periodare without work, currently available for work and seeking for work. bout !."million persons of labor force were estimated as unemployed in #$$$, asconstruction and transport sectors have an absorbed ##.! percent, %.& and '.(percent as compared to #).'percent, (.! and '.) percent respectively in #$$"*#$$'  +t is a general perception that the ratio of unemployment is greater inrural areas. This perception is supported by the fact that rural areas have less tooffer as in urban areas industrial sector overcomes this drawback. ut as tradeand industry re-uire skilled man power and people migrating from rural places tourban cities lack re-uired skills thus this increases unemployment in cities aswell. This is when unemployment demonstrates its adverse economic impact.  .

  Causes  There are different causes due to which unemployment occurs..

1- Over population…The first and the most common cause of not only the

unemployment but the cause of many other social problems are overpopulation. +t causes poverty, inflation, unemployment, e.t.c. +t causeunemployment because if there are more people and less opportunities sotheir need will fulfilled and if there are limited ob re-uirement and a largenumbers of spectators so how will every one become employed so overpopulation cause unemployment..

 

2- Lack of Education…0ur educational system is also responsible for increasing

unemployment rate among the educated youth. The attitude of our youthtowards the choice of a career is unrealistic and unproductive. 1apidmechani2ation and computer technology also causing unemployment.

3- !ite collar "o#s$  3hite collar ob means the respectable and honorable ob. 4ow aday every one want to have these kinds of obs but these obs are very less innumber so every one can not get these obs and they do not want to get otherunrespectable obs and they remain unemployed.

%-&mu''lin'…  +n our country smuggling is also causing unemployment becausethe smuggled product have low price as compare to those things which areproduce in the industries and due to which the sale of produced product isdecrease and if the sale is decreased so the producer is producing lessnumbers of products then there is no need of allot of workers so it causeunemployment.

(-)arket scope…  5ain issue of unemployment in our country is that when ever anew technology comes as software or hardware then all the people startsstudying about that and search the scope of market. Then at the end, you willsee ten thousand students of a particular field about ' to #) ob vacancies

*-+efferences…  4ow a days in our countries most of the obs are reference based obs soany common man who have no reference can not get a good ob and he willnot accept the unrespectable ob and remain unemployed.

-Economy slo don…+f our economy is getting slower and slower so it means we are not

producing well and have less sales and if the sales are less so owner will notable to pay wages to all hiss employees so he will kick out his employees whichcause unemployment.

  - Lack of industries…+ndustries are the important part of the success of any economy in our

country the number of industry is very low as compare to other developingcountries. +f we have more industries so more peoples can work there.

  .- /olitical insta#ility…  The political condition can also affect the rate of unemployment. ecause ifthere is bad political condition so the investors of other country will not invest inour country and then we can not make more industries.

  10- /oor "o# performance$$  y giving poor performance during the ob so the owner will kick out theperson who is not working efficiently. 6ue to which they become unemployed.
