Feed the Future Program Provides nutritious weekend meals over a 9-month school year period to 100 elementary school students who meet the criteria of “food insecure”. It also provides “Healthy Eating Choices” education to 400 elementary school students. A school garden will be designed and built at each participating elementary school where students assist in preparing the soil, selecting which crops to grow, and in planting and nurturing fruits and vegetables in the garden.
