CLAIMS CONSULTANT
Assisted clients in submitting claims to the claims department. I further acted as a liaison between the claims department and the client, providing feedback to the client when necessary. Furthermore, I drew up monthly reports based on motor accident claims that occurred during a month, hence, providing patterns of repairers cost, assessors appointed etc which assisted management in saving costs to company.
BROKER BUSINESS ASSISTANT
To assist the Broker Division with drawing up quotes for new prospective clients. Thereafter, once the business has been accepted, I had to maintain those clients’ portfolios i.e. make amendments where necessary, send out renewal and unpaid letters etc.
CURRENTLY AT MOMENTUM AS AN INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL ADVISOR
I assist individuals with their personal finances i.e risk management via short & long term insurance, retirement planning, estate planning and investments.
However, even though I studied and graduated with a financial planning degree & diploma, I soon realized that the industry is still sales orientated and commission based.
Hence, because of the above and many other factors e.g policy lapses, as a young graduate I find it extremely challenging and seeks certainty in terms of employment while I amend my career path.

INTERESTS
My all-time favourites are reading, entrepreneurship and assisting others with their finances.
Since 2009 I have develop a liking towards books, books of the bygone days. Today I find
myself with a library of books in my room and 2 hardcover books of words which I have
captured down to improve my vocabulary.
Entrepreneurship is the only solution to South Africa’s endless socio-economic issues i.e
unemployment, poverty & crime. Hence, ever since school I have been surrounding myself
with entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, participated in entrepreneurial activities and
organizations etc. This acknowledgment of entrepreneurship drove me into establishing a
small business that assist aspiring entrepreneurs in registration and marketing their own
business firms.
Lastly, I utilize the skills I have obtained at university to assist people with their finances.
I’m great at finding solutions but dislike selling, selling something one cannot see.
