Government Digital Archive
• The aim: A specialised digital archive for secure preservation of public sector archives through long-term change

• Project to replace ERKSS is nearly complete

• Response – public offices 93% - local authorities 60%
• Formal recordkeeping programme in place, or being developed, reported by 93% public office and 92% local authority respondents

Disposal Standard Update
• Issued on June 28
• Mandatory date will be July 1, 2012
• Publishing process is underway
• An PDF version is available on our website under ‘Current Projects and News’
• Launch event planned for November 24
Migration of Continuum Content• Continuum publications are being migrated to the
main Archives NZ website over next few months• The Continuum website will be decommissioned, but
the Continuum brand will still be used for publications.
• Redirects will be put in place• There will be a landing page on the new website with
all the publications listed• Further information will be made available when
migration is complete
Customer Satisfaction Survey
• In May Archives ran a Customer Satisfaction Survey
• 83% of all clients were satisfied or very satisfied.
• We have identified some areas for improvement and we are currently developing an action plan to target these areas

Audit Programme Update
• Initial audits completed and feedback taken onboard • Now in ‘factory mode’ with approx 30 audits
underway• Capability self-assessment application well received • All 2010/11 audit clients notified• Audit Service Providers now engaged in field audit
work• All ‘operating to plan’
