13-0048Burglary

O A student reported a laptop was stolen from a room in Slocum between 1:00pm and 2:30pm Wednesday January 30th. The door to the room had been closed but was not locked.

O Staff reports that they had seen an unidentified female in the area at the time the theft occurred.

O A review of the video from the Slocum dock showed the unidentified female loitering outside the card reader door for several minutes and then entering as someone else swiped into the building.

O If you can identify the female or observe her in the area, please contact campus safety at 389-6707.

O The unidentified female returned again around 2:00pm, again loitering for a short time before being unable to gain access and leaving.

O At 2:04pm, she again returned and this time was successful “piggybacking” in when someone swiped their card to enter.

O At 2:22pm the female exits Slocum via the loading dock door.
