The Grantura was produced by TVR from the late Fiftiesuntil it was replaced by the Griffith (basically a MkIIIGrantura powered by a Ford 289 V8) in 1963.

Production numbers were never high so the numberssurviving are relatively low, but that hasn’t stopped GAZfrom offering fully adjustable suspension dampers for theGranturas that are still around today.

The GAZ GHA suspension kit provides ride heightadjustability from -25mm to -55mm.

The height adjusters have a coarse acme form thread forease of adjustment and the damper units are zinc plated toensure that they remain in good order even afterconsiderable service.

Damper rates are also variable by means of an adjusterknob on the damper body.

All the units are individually tested before leaving the factory and are covered by a 2 year warranty.

Brake Limiter Valvefor classic Minis from 1978 on

Mini Spares now have stocks of replacement twin line brake valves as fitted on the frontbulkhead of the engine bay of Minis from 1978 on (as opposed to the single line valve whichwas fitted on the rear subframe.)

The four Brake unions are all metric. The mounting hole is at the top with the end nut towardsthe centre of the car. The valve was repositioned closer to the bulk head when a servo wasadded in 1988.

Powerflex Bushes for Vauxhall/Opel Astra, Meriva and ZafiraExcessive engine movement is an all too common problem on Vauxhall/Opel Astra, Meriva andZafira models. Diesel and performance versions are particularly prone to the problem.

Powerflex has now introduced a range of polyurethane inserts to resolve the issue. The inserts fitinto and fill the voids in original engine-mount bushes and are recommended as a labour savingmethod of limiting engine movement so as to improve vehicle performance and reduce the likeli-hood of downpipe breakage from excessive movement.

The tubular chromoly controlarms feature race proven heim joints,spherical bearings and dual barreladjusters.

Dual barrel adjusters with FK Rod endsreplace the factory rubber bushings andallow for quick and precise alignment changes at the control arm. Caster and camber changescan be made by simply loosening the jam nut, inserting a standard 1/4’ ratchet into the end of thebarrel adjuster and turning to lengthen and shorten the length of the rod end.

Shortening or lengthening the rods independently allows adjustment from the factory setting allthe way up to 5 degrees of camber and over 10 degrees of caster.

On original Toyota control arms the ball joint is integrated into the control arm, requiring thecomplete arm to be replaced when the joints reach the end of their service life. Titan control armsuse a more durable spherical bearing which can be serviced independently.

The control arm set comes complete with all spacers and hardware required for installation.

Titan Motorsport are pleased toannounce their new Throttle Body Kit for

the popular Ford Duratec 2.0 and 2.3engines.

The kit features several Titan exclusive innovationsincluding Resin Transfer Moulded Carbon Trumpets, an

in-house manufactured Billet Manifold and four Titanindividual 48mm Throttle Bodies.

Titan are one of the few companies in the world who have brought massproduction techniques to “RTM” carbon fibre manufacture. Titan carbon

fibre trumpets are around 75% lighter than conventional billet aluminiumtrumpets. The double layer carbon fibre ensures a smooth finish on A side and B side of the product, for anattractive, easy to keep clean exterior and an improved internal airflow compared with a typical spun ormachined trumpet. The carbon fibre trumpets feature a 7 degree taper to produce a vortex effect that willincrease airspeed through the throttle for optimum performance. CFD testing has proved the Titan individual Throttle bodies to be amongst the most efficient on the marketand far lighter than conventional DCOE pattern twin throttle bodies. Titan individual Throttle bodies featurea roller bearing either side of each butterfly for a smoother and more reliable operation and twin returnsprings on the throttle shaft that require no secondary return spring on the linkage.

After passing through the throttle bodies the air/fuel charge is further accelerated by taper of the Titanmanifold to produce an ultimate overfill at Bottom Dead Centre. The manifold is machined from billet alloy,not cast, to ensure it is more malleable and less likely to crack or suffer from air leaks compared to aconventional cast manifold. The fuel rail is also machined from solid alloy billet for constantly repeatablequality and reliability.

The induction system’s tuned length of 180mm provides the optimum conditions for both low end torqueand high end power for the best overall performance.
