2. HOME SWEET HOME: The first-place Dodgers return home
following a 2-4 road trip to San Francisco (0-3) and San Diego (2-

Tonight marks the second installment of the Dodgers’ Cy
Young Collectors’ pin series, with the first 40,000 fans in
attendance receiving a Don Drysdale pin presented by
76. Drysdale’s daughter, Drew, will perform the national
anthem and members of the Drysdale family, Ann Meyers
Drysdale, Drew, DJ and Darren, will throw ceremonial
first pitches.
HOME COOKING: Los Angeles has won seven consecutive
home games and is looking to win eight in a row at home in a
single season for the first time since opening the 2009 campaign
with 13 consecutive victories (Source: Stats, LLC). Overall, the
Dodgers have gone 8-1 in their nine home games this year,
averaging 5.89 runs per game at Dodger Stadium and combining to
post a .300/.382/.545 slashline. Los Angeles pitchers have been
equally as good with a 2.96 home ERA (27 ER/82.0 IP), a .227
opponents’ batting average (70-for-308) and an average of 10.5
strikeouts per 9.0 innings during home games.
Howie Kendrick has a .441/.500/.824 slashline in nine
home games, going 15-for-34 with five doubles, a triple,
two homers and 10 RBI. He’s hit safely in eight of nine
games at Dodger Stadium, including seven multi-hit
games. Kendrick’s .364 career batting average at Dodger
Stadium leads active players (min. 100 AB):

GOING, GOING, GUERRERO: Alex Guerrero continued to
swing a hot bat yesterday, going 2-for-3 with a solo home run in
the fifth inning. Guerrero has homered in three consecutive games
with an official at-bat (walked in his only plate appearance on
Saturday) and has hit safely in all four starts at third base this year,
combining to go 8-for-15 (.533) with a double, three homers and
eight RBI as a starter. As a pinch-hitter, Guerrero is 3-for-6 with a

all-time Los Angeles home run list.
Ethier has a .298 batting average with 31 doubles, three
triples, 11 home runs and 53 RBI in 138 career games
against the Giants.
EIGHT BALL: Juan Uribe had the day off yesterday, but has hit
safely in his last eight games dating to April 15, batting .286 (8-

longest hitting streak for a Dodger against the Giants since Matt
Kemp hit safely in 12 in a row, Sept. 11, 2009-July 19, 2010.
LIKE A ROCK: Yesterday’s game marked just the second time in
17 starts that Adrian Gonzalez did not reach base safely, but the
first baseman continues to lead the Majors with an .803 slugging
percentage and ranks among the big league leaders in batting
average (.380, 4th), on-base percentage (.436, 12

ROSTER UPDATE: Today, the Dodgers traded left-handed
pitcher Xavier Cedeño to the Rays in exchange for cash
considerations. Cedeño was acquired by the Dodgers from
Washington on April 22 and designated for assignment two days
later, without appearing in a Dodger uniform.
MINOR SUCCESS: Dodger minor league affiliates continue to
have one of the top combined winning percentages among big
league clubs with a .627 mark (42-25), second only to Houston’s
.652 combined winning percentage (45-24). Triple-A Oklahoma
City has the Pacific Coast League’s best record at 14-4 (.778),

North Division (10-6, .625), Single-A Rancho Cucamonga is tied

Single-A Great Lakes is just 2.5 games out of first place in the
Midwest League Eastern Division with an 8-7 record.
Congratulations to Dodger right-hander Scott Baker on
being named the Triple-A Pacific Coast League Pitcher of
the Week. Baker tossed a two-hit, 7.0-inning shutout for
Oklahoma City on Monday before receiving a call-up to
Los Angeles to start yesterday’s game at San Diego.
