Paradise Church Relief Effort: In November 2018, the town of Paradise, California was hit by California's worst wildfire to date. 90 percent of the Paradise Alliance Church body is estimated to have lost their homes, as well as the homes of most of the church staff. On Sunday February 10th, we will be taking up a special offering for relief efforts there. Please be in prayer regarding how you are able to help extend love across the country in this way.

Prayer and Praise List

GENERAL REQUESTS 1. We pray for our nation, our President, our troops abroad and at home, and their families, and those who have returned with trauma. We pray also for wisdom and safety of our law enforcement officers and first responders. 2. We pray that God would provide good jobs for those in our church body who are in need of employment and that those who have businesses would be prospered by the Lord. 3. We pray for Israel and peace for Jerusalem- that they will see the True Messiah, Jesus.

OUTREACH, MISSIONS, AND EVANGELISM 1. Missions – Indonesia Keep Jeff and Betsy Lawrence in prayer. They serve in Papua, Indonesia and are forced to delay return to the mission field as their 31 year old daughter has suffered a stroke.

2. The Persecuted Church – Iran Government officials have significantly increased persecution of Christians within the last three months. The fate of several Christians arrested by the Intelligence Ministry over the Christmas period remains unknown. Continue to keep Iranian Christians in prayer as they face record levels of persecutions.

WE PRAISE GOD THAT: He is our Healer and He is touching those who are ill or need comfort: Jeff Abbott, Kathy Ford, Donna Garrett, Tracey King, John Revnell, Sandie Rhodes, Nell Younger. Also in recent months there have been several who have lost loved ones, so we lift them up as well.

Haven Ministries Shelter The shelter (located at Kent Island Methodist Church) opened October 1. Volunteers from IAC will be needed Feb 20 & 21, and March 17 & 18. To volunteer, please contact Jeannie Carpenter at 410-739-4705.
