Reflection Time

It’s been a busy couple of months for wom-

en’s wrestling. All three age groups had

their respective World Championships. All

together Team USA had twelve athletes in

medal matches winning a total of eight

medals including three of which were gold.

Both our cadet and senior teams placed

third overall while our juniors finished sixth

in the world. All our teams have a lot to be

proud of. Their ability, hard work, and disci-

pline shows in the results. Moving into the

2015-2016 year, we still have work to do.

We encourage our athletes to continue

working and improving as one team—Team

USA. The climb to the top will take every-

one’s efforts united in purpose.

To Our Friends at Maximized Living

Attending the 2015 World Champion-

ships is a once in a lifetime experience.

As a National Staff, we thought it impera-

tive to allow all our Senior National Team

Member this experience. This is not a

cheap expense as tickets, hotel rooms,

and travel add up quickly; especially

when most athletes are putting all their

time and energy into training. Having

said this, the doctors of Maximized Living

who went above and beyond their calling

to help our program and athletes at the

World Championships. We would like to

sincerely thank them for the $7,000+ do-

nation to help cover these costs. In addi-

tion, we would like to thank them for the

countless hours they volunteer their ser-

vices o keep our team and staff in func-

tioning optimally.

You are truly difference makers!

Athlete Tips:

In sport, injuries are often outside our con-

trol. Every athlete wants to heal and recov-

ery quickly in order to get back on the

playing field. It’s crucial however that we

take the right steps to ensure a healthy, le-

gal, and safe recovery. Visit the USADA

information page below for a pre-surgery
