Modern research has demonstrated the ability of mindful movement exercises to promote health and well-being on a cellular level. Gerald Noterman, PT, DPT and Yao Yao RYT, CQI will lead you through the ancient mind-ful movement practice of Qigong. Dr. Noterman and Yao Yao are the founders of Wu Wei Qigong, a community outreach program in Ft. Worth, Texas. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: Becky Althaus, APRN, Ph.D., CGC, FNP-BC from Baylor Louise Herrington School of Nursing, Dallas, Texas will bring her years of experience as a genetics counselor to discuss the issues of cancer and genetics. 5-10% of all cancer develops due to the pres-ence of a genetic mutation. Find out more about the characteristics of cancer that are caused by genetic mutations and what is means to you if you have a genetic mutation.
