President Benigno S. Aquino III signed Proclamation no. 1105, s.20 15 entitled DECLARING THE REGULAR HOLlDA YS, SPECIAL (NON-WORKING)DAYS, AND SPECIAL HOLIDAY (FOR ALL SCHOOLS) FOR THE YEAR 2016.

According to the proclamation No. I \OS, the Philippines' 2016 holidays are categorized into three: Regular Holidays, Special (Non-Working) Days and SpecialHoliday (for all schools).

The proclamation also has provisions for the national holidays in the observance of Eid'i Fitr and Eid ul Adha, but the exact dates are still to be determined inaccordance with the Islamic Calendar or the lunar calendar.

Holidays in 2017 are listed in their original dates pending the issuance of Presidential proclamation.
