Welcome to the 2009 adidas Track Classic!
For the fifth year, adidas is proud to bring world-class track and
field to The Home Depot Center here in Carson. Last year, among
other highlights, fans were treated to another American Record in
the pole vault by Jenn Stuczynski, a world-leading run by American
Shannon Rowbury in the Women’s 1500m, and a meet record
from Olympic gold medalist Jeremy Wariner in the Men’s 400m.
The adidas Track Classic promises even more excitement this
year, as we approach the 2009 World Championships in Berlin.
Approximately 160 top athletes from 19 countries are expected
to compete here as their Olympic campaigns begin in earnest,
including:
magazine for 2007

Champion at 200 meters and five-time California prep champion
while competing for Los Angeles Baptist High School; Dawn

Because I’m loving every wonderful, horrible minute of thisIt may be 6am and cold, but I’m out here with two old friends. One on each foot. As comfortable now as the day I first got them. Fitting well, working hard – like my old pair but better.
