In January-February2015, AZN 3.5 bln-goods were sold to consumers in retail trade, more than 8.5% from previous year.

50.1% of the consumption goods

made food products, drinks and tobacco products, 49.9% - non-food products.

Volume of e-trade turnover rose

1.5 times to AZN 1,688,700. Population purchased 92.7% of goods from legal entities’ trade networks, 7.3% - from individuals’. 95.9% of e-trade goods made non-food products.

“Decree on the application of the principles of single window”, 11 November, 2008

Types of single window

Single authority: The first is based on the principle of a single authority, where customs

authorities are responsible for exercising or coordinating all border control functions for

other agencies.

Single system: The second type is a single system, which collects standardized data from

traders, then processes and distributes it to all agencies involved in international trade.

Automated system: The third type is an automated system, where traders submit a single

electronic declaration to relevant authorities for processing and approvals and these

agencies send users electronic releases and approvals.
