OsteopathyConference 2019
Dear friends of osteopathy,
we, the Osteopathie Schule Deutschland, invite you to Europe’s big-
gest osteopathy conference in the heart of Berlin from 15th to 17th
November 2019.
For a whole weekend leading osteopaths and scientists from all over
the globe will shine a light on the latest insights and findings in sci-
ence and osteopathic practice in the world of Cranial Osteopathy.
Time changes everything. For this reason, this conference isn’t just
about exploring and applying little known cranial approaches of the
early osteopaths. But we should also allow ourselves to adjust our
views and actions to the challenges of modern time by modifying our
practice for the welfare of the patient and to invite other perspectives
as well as integrating new approaches into our work.
“It is the clinical experience of utilizing this stillness, this total ener-
gy, this total body, this total force, in the concept of the treatment
program… You experience the stillness with its motivating energy,
centering the total body… When I sense this interchange taking place
through my hands as a palpable mechanism and through my mind as
an awareness of the stillness interchanging with body physiology, then
the treatment is complete.” (R. E. Becker)
The focus of the practical workshops will be to see, feel and experience
through different perspectives how patience, insight and gentle mind-
fulness reveal homeostatic dynamics. We will listen to these processes,
let them happen and support them. The workshops also show many
new approaches and deepened models as well as scientific and neu-
roanatomical discourses.
Special events and plenty of occasions will give you the chan-
ce to exchange experiences and knowledge with your collea-
gues and to expand your professional network. Of course the
traditional Gala-Dinner with our following, by now notorious,
Meeting-Friends-Party won’t be missing! Here you’ll get a very dyna-
mic opportunity to relax and celebrate together.
We are looking forward to welcome you at our conference.
