We commit to utilizing multiple data sets to drive our decision making when determining instructional models, operational practices and health and safety

protocols. These data sets will support short- and long-term growth for our students and staff while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

OUR JOURNEY TO TODAYConcerns presented by COVID-19 pandemic remain - local cases on rise

Staying up-to-date with guidance from CDC, DPI, DHS and local health officials

Gathered feedback from staff, students and parents on the spring distance learning experience (June) and feedback on returning to school (July)

SURVEY RESULTSFamilies’ comfort level with returning to 100% face-to-face was 57% (very comfortable, comfortable)

However, 17% of families said they would not send their children back for any face-to-face instruction

Staff top comfort level was with blended learning model of face-to-face and distance at 39.2% (very comfortable, comfortable)

Families’ top priorities were 1) academic progress of their children and 2) staff and student safety.

Staff top concerns were compliance to health and safety protocols, unknown factors regarding job duties, cleaning and disinfecting practices

Each house will have 30-40 students in each grade

Each house divided evenly between 4 core teachers

Teachers move to another room with another group of students in the same house after each instructional period

Two teachers from each grade level plan face-to-face and distance learning for each core subject

All teachers for each core subject teach the lesson for each grade level
