DemoThe video that follows is a demonstration of how aglass prism bends and scatters white light into itsseven constituent colours.

The angle and shape of the prism can be varied as

well as the refractive index of the glass itself. This

means that a large combination of variousparameters can be done in real time, a feat which is

nearly if not totally impossible in conventional

physics laboratories.
