Established in 2000, the Academy of Math, Science & Technology is infused into the 319,000 square foot Kennesaw Mountain High School campus. Students enter the Academy as freshmen through a competitive application process and progress through the coursework at an accelerated rate so that they can participate in courses beyond those found in traditional high schools. The capstone for seniors is a field experience/internship with a local institution of higher learning, professional group, or business.
