- Read through all of the instructions before beginning.- All of the seam allowances are 1/4” unless otherwise noted.- Press seam allowances open unless otherwise noted. - Width of fabric (WOF) is equal to at least 42” wide.- Right sides together has been abbreviated to RST.- Remember to measure twice and cut once!

From Fabric A, fussy cut:one 22-1/2” x 36-1/2” center panel

From Fabric B, fussy cut:eight 9-1/2” squares

From Fabric C, cut:three 5” x WOF strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then trim: two 5” x 42-1/2” strips

Step 1: Sew the 3-1/2” x 36-1/2” Fabric D strips to the top and bottom of the Fabric A center panel. Press. Sew the 3-1/2” x 28-1/2” Fabric D strips to the left and right edges of the Fabric A center panel. Press.

Assemble the Quilt Center

From Fabric C, cut:four 3-1/2” x WOF strips. Subcut: two 3-1/2” x 36-1/2” top/bottom center borders two 3-1/2” x 28-1/2” side center bordersnine 2-1/2” x WOF strips. Subcut: six 2-1/2” x 9-1/2” block sashing strips Sew the remaining strips together, end-to-end, then trim: four 2-1/2” x 42-1/2” row sashing strips two 2-1/2” x 63-1/2” side outer strips

From the Binding Fabric, cut:six 2-1/2” x WOF strips

Step 2: Gather four Fabric B squares and three 2-1/2” x 9-1/2” Fabric D block sashing strips. Sew together to form a row, placing a block sashing strip between each Fabric B square. Press. Repeat to make a second row like this.

Assemble the Rows

Step 3: Gather two 2-1/2” x 42-1/2” Fabric D strips and one Fabric C strip. Sew together along the longest edges to form a row, placing the Fabric C piece between the Fabric D strips. Press. Repeat to make a second row like this.

Step 4: Sew a completed Step 2 row to the top and bottom of the Step 1 quilt center. Press. Sew a completed Step 3 row to the top and bottom of the quilt. Press.

Step 5: Sew a 2-1/2” x 63-1/2” Fabric D strip to the left and right edges of the quilt. Press.

Your quilt top is complete. Baste, quilt, bind and enjoy!
