Points for Top 5 Field Placing Hounds: Points for Top 5 Show Placing Hounds:

1st – 10 points 1st – 10 points

2nd – 8 points 2nd – 8 points

3rd – 6 points 3rd – 6 points

4th – 4 points 4th – 4 points

5th – 2 points 5th – 1 point

The Field trial secretary shall combine the placing hounds’ field and show points. The hound with the highest point total will be

awarded Grand Final Winner. The hound with the second highest point total will be awarded Grand Final Runner-Up. A hound

placing in the field and show will take precedence over a hound only placing in the field.

TIE: In the event of a tie for the Grand Final Winner Trophy or the Grand Final Winner Runner-Up Trophy, the following breaker

system will be used.

1. The hound with the highest field placement shall win.

2. If field place is a tie, then the hound with the highest field points shall win.

3. If field points are the same, then the hound placing in the largest field class (defeated more field starters) shall win.

4. If field classes of same size, then the hound placing in the largest show class shall win.

5. A final tie breaker shall be decided by drawing.
