Love and CareTo belong means to love and care for our families, friends,

and members of our community as what Jesus had told us. He told us to love one another.

Jesus, the True Vine

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in His love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”

St. Francis of Assisi followed the teachings of Jesus. He gave us his notorious life to serve and care for the poor. Francis was dedicated to his duties. Those who were in need were helped by St. Francis. He let the poor, the sick, and the peasant feel that they are important. Francis found the true meaning of joy from a genuine love of God. He served not only the rich but also the poor people.

True love is the amount of hardship you are willing to undergo for your loved ones. Parents give up their own needs to send their children

to school.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace

Where there is hatred,

Let me sow love

Where there is injury, pardon

Where there is doubt, faith

Where there is despair, hope

And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console,

to be understood as to understand,

to be loved as to love,

for it is in giving that we receive,

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
