I began building my business on September 3, 2012 after attending a success night with my friend, Lynn Shoffler. I went along to get 15% off of my moisturizer, but ended up with so much more than
moisturizer. I had been praying for God to provide for my family in an "out of the box" way, and also looking for a way to reach out to women and build relationships. I was struck by the way that a Mary Kay business could be the answer to both prayers. After thinking about it over the weekend, and con-cluding that I had nothing to lose by giving it a try, but so much to lose by not giving it a shot, I ordered my starter kit. I have found that Mary Kay has indeed been a great blessing in my life, and have experi-enced personal, financial, relational, and spiritual growth through my business. I am thrilled to have earned my red jacket. My goal is to continue to bless as many women as possible with the products and the opportunity while balancing it with my new long term substitute teaching position and family life. My next goal is to become a team leader, then to go on target for my car, then DIQ, and ultimately director-ship. I am very thankful for the friendship and support of my team members, other Mary Kay sisters, and for the mentorship and friendship of my sales director, Cindy Templeton.
