Ancient Civilizations: The Incas

In 1532, Francisco Pizarro landed in Perú and found a great civilization.

The Incas was a model of social organization.

The law was that everybody should help everybody else, except :

Splendit cities were constructed like Machu Picchu.

The art was consider very important.

Woman could get married If she is 20 and the man If he is 25 years old

Young people lined up face to face and had to marry whoever was opposite them in the line.

Traditons

Incas believed that first people came for a great hole in the ground.

Inca doctors cut holes in people’s heads.They ate llamas meat and guinea pigs.

They didn’t rode llamas. The rode donkeys.

Woman collected urine, in order to used it after to wash her hair.

They put criminals in a cliff.

Men pierced their ears.

They didn’t used stones. They exchanged their work.

Inca emperors could marry with any girl that he prefered.

Inca emperors ate on the floor.
