Copyright is legal right created to protect the use of your work once you have published an idea. The current copyright legislation in the UK is the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
Copyright protects the creators original work, the main categories protected in the UK are, original literary works, original dramatic works, original musical works, original artistic works, sound recordings, films, broadcasts and typographical arrangements.
Copyright Hub allows you to upload images, audio or videos. They will then search the site to try and find the copyright holder.
If this fails they provide other organisations that will legally contact the copyright holder to gain access to use whatever it is you’re wanting to use. If was creating this magazine for a company and if I had more time I would contact other companies such as BAPLA, DACS and Plus Registry.
To find the copyright holder of the image to get permission to use the photo I used a website (http://www.copyrighthub.co.uk/).
I searched the copyright website but could not find the owner to gain permission.
This is the image I used that I found from google images - http://www.arcticmonkeysnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Arctic-Monkeys-AM-HD-Desktop-Wallpaper.jpg
