You would not win first prize with an ordinary painting.
If nothing exciting happens it is an ordinary day.
That outfit is much prettier than your ordinary clothing.
refreshments – Refreshments are things to eat and drink .
I didn’t eat much for dinner because I knew refreshments would be served.
The refreshments at the party were cheese and crackers .
The soccer players are always ready for refreshments after the game.
