Lessons learned about EU project management
Be aware of intercultural differences within the consortium: behaviour, ethics, language, working methods, …
Practical issues of working together: timezones, holidays, working hours, …
Foresee delays due to decision-making processes or difficulties encountered
Record everything (think about the interim/final report)
Set-up methods and procedures to share and to get everyone involved (including backstopping staff)
