FRIDAYS 2.45-4.00PM
HAPPY HOLIDAYS School finishes at 2.30 pm on FRIDAY I hope your family is able to use the holidays to rest, enjoy each other’s company and get outside and be active. It is not great to have more screen time so try to only play games for short breaks. I believe the new Ringwood Lake playground will be open soon and hopefully will be a possibility for the holidays. Remember the library at Croydon or REALM in Ringwood is always worth a visit
too. Our grounds are available for you to play on the playgrounds, ride a bike or play soccer or basketball at any-time. STAY ACTIVE ! ENROLMENTS Thank you to everyone has brought in their enrolment form. If you are still intending to come to Croydon next year or have friends that are, please come and get the blue form. YEAR 5/6 CAMP Thank you to all the staff that provided this wonderful experience for the students. Everyone had a favourite activity and went somewhere they had never been before. Included are wonderful photos taken by Mrs Lambden of the 4 days. REFUGEE WEEK PERFORMANCE The Year 3/4 students have represented the school today at Federation Square. They sang two songs from our production. This was a great honour to be asked to be part of the day. Thank you to Felicity Cameron for the organisation around the day.
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
PRODUCTION – IMAGINE – AUGUST 8TH Tickets will be available from Week 1 next term. MATINEE – 12.00PM $10 EVENING – 6.00 PM $15 Children under 5 can sit on your knee for free.
INTERESTING ANIMAL FACTS A group of geese on the ground is a gaggle, but a group of geese in the air is called a skein. The heart of a blue whale is the size of a small car. An ant’s sense of smell is as good as a dog’s.
Kind regards, Julie Gilbert
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL cont.
