UNIFORM DESIGN & ORDER FORM

Below is the Uniform design and body measurement chart that needs to be

completed for the ordering process.

ORDERING UNIFORMS

The Housekeeping manager must get measurements of all the staff.

Please print relevant pages in accordance to the number of staff available

and fill in accordingly. (Ensure that its one staff per page)

Please ensure you complete each of the body measurement sections with the

correct details. (All measurements should be in inches)

Once completed please send the filled Uniform order form to the

International Service Center by email. (hr@swissinternationalhotels.com)

RESPONSIBLE DEPARTMENTS

Housekeeping (Housekeeping Manager/ Supervisor gets measurement of all

the staff.

All uniform orders should be approved by the HR (Manager/ Supervisor).

Once the order is placed the production of the uniforms will take 21 days.

PERSONAL APPEARANCE AND UNIFORM POLICY To comply with the Swiss International Hotels & Resorts grooming expectations, all staff shall maintain a very high standard of personal appearance and shall adhere to the uniform regulations as detailed below. At all times when on duty, all hotel staff including the General Manager, Director of Operations, sales management, etc., must: a) Be neatly dressed in the required uniform, which must be clean and in

good condition.

b) Wear the professionally prepared Swiss International name tag, which includes a Swiss International logo.

c) Be neatly attired and groomed.

d) Excessive or unprofessional jewellery, piercing and tattoos, and unnatural hair colorings (e.g., blue) are not acceptable. Some visible tattoos are permitted; however, employees may not show excessive tattoos.

e) When appropriate, Black belts with small and discreet buckles should be worn by gentlemen as part of the uniform.

f) Tee shirts, tank tops, denim of any color (i.e., blue jeans), sweat pants, and cut-off shorts are not acceptable. Hotel- management–approved shorts appropriate for the climate and location are acceptable, provided they are professional in style and length.

g) Torn or patched clothing is not acceptable.

h) Leggings and yoga pants are not acceptable.

i) Skirt/dress length is to be professional.

j) Shirts must be tucked in for all staff, unless camp or tunic style.

k) Wear footwear that is clean, in good repair, and appropriate for a business environment. Flip flops and sandals are not acceptable. Dark, monochrome footwear is acceptable with ladies footwear not exceeding 5 cms in heels.

l) Black leather Oxford shoes are recommended for Gentlemen (to be worn with dark plain coloured socks – black/navy blue)

m) Black leather Court shoes are recommended for Ladies (if wearing a skirt or trousers, then shoes must be worn with neutral colour stockings)

n) Clothing (including hats) with prominent logos other than Swiss International, sayings, and/or bold illustrations are not acceptable.

o) Resort locations may have theme-style uniforms, and attire may tastefully reflect local character.

Allowances will be made for: i. Climate-related additional items (such as sweaters and jackets); however,

each department staff must all wear substantially the same items, as noted above.

ii. Occasional, short-term special events (i.e., local sporting events, etc.);

nonetheless, attire must be coordinated for all team members (e.g., pant, knee length skirt, blouse, tunic, vest, jackets, etc.) in the same department.

Exceptions to this policy may be made to accommodate religious practices or medical needs. Requests for such accommodations shall be directed to and determined by hotel management. Employees may not smoke (including e-cigarettes), chew gum or tobacco, or eat food in view of guests while on duty.
