▶ Introduction: ▶ As part of the overall aims of the SPX project:

▶ Creating an effective streamlined process for companies to access suitable support incentives, both governmental and non-governmental to aid in capability enhancement, competitiveness and business retention. Towards the broader aim of expedient industrial localisation.

▶ ▶ A software to this effect is currently in construction and to be

launched in the first quarter of 2011.

▶ The urgent need for such an initiative was further emphasised at a recent meeting with industrial Associations participating in the SPX programme. To be included in the recommendations given to benchmarked companies.

Current Activity: Data▶ Data Collection: Gathering of data from support

incentive providers is nearing completion. This has been endeavoured through the circulation of a questionnaire, and accompanying introductory letter,to the identified providers requesting information as required by the system.

▶ Data Consolidation: Upon receipt of the complete data, it will be vetted, organised; verified and prepared for capture.

▶ Data Capture: Once the system is ready, a manual entry of the data will commence.
